The Calhoun Honors College, the Pearce Center for Professional Communication, the Department of English and the Clemson Writing Center invite applications for the 2014-2015 class of Clemson Writing Fellows. In its first two years, the Writing Fellows program has been shown to encourage revision, increase attention to structure, and build a community of writers across disciplines. As we move forward with the program, we need your help recruiting students. We would love the involvement of majors in all disciplines, and hope you will send some of your best students our way.
Our recruitment depends upon faculty involvement and recommendation. Please pass along this call for applications to qualified students who have at least a 3.4 GPR with at least two semesters remaining at Clemson. All majors are encouraged to apply. Students will not only join a prestigious organization, but will earn a stipend of $1000-$1500 per semester.
Feel free to use the following short description as you distribute to other faculty and to individual students, and contact me with any questions that you may have at email@example.com. Additionally, you may send names of recommended students to me.
