Office of Human Resources temporarily moving

The Office of Human Resources will be temporarily relocated for approximately six months, beginning in May, due to the planned renovation of HR office space in the Administrative Services Building. During the renovation period, HR staff will be physically located at multiple on and off-campus sites with the majority of staff being located at Clemson Centre, 391 College Avenue, Suite 401-02 (located downtown, above Moe’s).

Effective July 1, all monthly annuity payments from the South Carolina Retirement Systems will be distributed electronically to recipients.

Vending Committee now accepting requests for funding

A portion of university vending machine revenues is allocated each year to fund activities not normally supported by departmental operating budgets. The Vending Committee accepts requests for Vending Committee funds and awards these funds during its meeting in June. Funds allocated in a fiscal year must be spent during that fiscal year.

Tony Lee Swaney, 54, of Pendleton, died Thursday, April 12. Swaney worked as a trade specialist IV in the Clemson Engineering Technology Lab for nearly three years.

Betty Miley, retiree – April 13, 2012

Monday, April 16th, 2012

Betty Miley, 64, of Central, died Friday, April 13, at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca. Miley worked as a fiscal technician in the Academic Success Center and retired in February after 26 years of service.
