Henry Eason, retiree – Feb. 26, 2012

Henry Lawrence Eason, 84, of Newberry, died Sunday, Feb. 26, at Springfield Place in Newberry. Eason worked for Clemson Extension where he served in Chester, Fairfield, Lancaster, Laurens, Newberry and York counties in a career that spanned 30 years. He retired as a County Extension Leader Emeritus in 1985.

Clemson “flips the script” on FOX Carolina to emphasize the value of play

The US Play Coalition kicks off its annual summit at Clemson University Feb. 26. More than 200 guests are expected at the 3-day event, including participants from as far away as Shanghai, China. A news crew from FOX Carolina (WHNS-TV) became part of its own newscast Friday, Feb. 24 during live pre-conference coverage of the summit.

Nine faculty receive University Research Grants
