Arpit Patel, student – Dec. 19, 2011

Arpit Patel, 20, of McCormick, died Dec. 20 in a car accident while visiting India with his family. Eight other people were killed in the accident, including Patel’s parents and sister.

Student Organic Farm now offering shares for 2012 CSA program

The Clemson Student Organic Farm is now offering shares for its 2012 Community Supported Agriculture program. Participants purchase shares (prices range from $120 to $700 for the season), which help cover production costs for the farm, and in exchange, shareholders receive fresh produce and other items such as cut flowers and herbs from the farm on a weekly basis.

Payroll purging older online paystubs

Clemson University started using online paystubs in 2004. Currently, employees can view online paystubs dating back to January 2007; however, to increase efficiency, the payroll department needs to purge payroll data, which will purge past years (2007-2009) of on-line paystubs.
