Taking the suffix ‘-ista’ as inspiration, Clemson grads Marlee Calloway and Amy Knapp have created What’s Your Ista, a custom T-shirt company that offers wearers the opportunity to announce their passions to the world.
The Business Strategy Game is a simulation that mirrors the athletic footwear industry, as the participating teams compete head-to-head in a global market arena, producing and selling branded and private-label athletic footwear in four geographic regions around the world.
Linda Dzuris, associate professor and resident carillonneur, teaches students in a variety of majors to play Clemson’s largest instrument, atop the Tillman Hall bell tower. Her love of music began when her parents purchased a Yamaha electronic organ. The instrument came with nine free half-hour lessons.
Problems with her short-term memory and trouble multitasking and organizing led to a lot of job frustration. With the help of other brain injury survivors through a support group, Norungolo began working toward becoming an advocate on the road to recovery.
